Privacy Policy — Edge Parlay

Effective Date: February 4, 2026

Entertainment App — Not a Sportsbook
Edge Parlay provides AI‑generated parlay ideas for entertainment purposes only. We are not a sportsbook or betting operator.

1. Who We Are

Edge Parlay is provided by EdgeSoftware LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in Kentucky, USA. This app is for entertainment purposes only and is not a sportsbook or a betting operator.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use Edge Parlay, our websites, and related services. By using Edge Parlay, you agree to this Policy.

3. Who Can Use Edge Parlay

Edge Parlay is intended for adults 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided information, email support@edgesoftwarellc.com so we can delete it.

4. Information We Collect

A) Information you provide

  • Account and contact information (e.g., email, display name). Supabase Auth stores hashed credentials or Apple/Google tokens on our behalf.
  • Preferences (favorite teams/leagues), saved parlays, and feedback you submit.
  • Support requests and communications.
  • Optional profile details you add (avatars, bios) if/when community features launch.

Automatically Collected Information

  • Device and app data: device type/model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, network type, crash and diagnostics logs.
  • Usage data: screens viewed, buttons tapped, features used, timestamps, run IDs, and in‑app events (e.g., generations per day).
  • Advertising identifiers (e.g., Apple IDFA) and similar identifiers used for ads, measurement, and fraud prevention.
  • Approximate location based on IP or device settings (we do not collect precise GPS location).
  • When backend generation is enabled, Google Cloud logs the request metadata (run ID, league, duration) but not betslip contents.

Purchases and Subscriptions

  • In‑app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple.
  • We receive transaction metadata (product, price tier, transaction ID, status) to provision access.
  • We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

Service Providers & Data Sources

We use trusted vendors to deliver the App. They process personal information under our instructions and are bound by contracts.

  • Supabase. Provides authentication, Postgres storage, file storage, and feature flags. User profiles, saved parlays, and account deletion requests flow through Supabase.
  • Google Cloud Platform. Hosts backend services (Cloud Run), Pub/Sub queues, Cloud Tasks, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Logging used for parlay generation, log retention, and analytics.
  • BallDontLie & League APIs. Supply sports schedules, odds, and player statistics used by our models. These feeds may include metadata about players, teams, and games but do not contain your personal information.
  • Analytics & Diagnostics SDKs. Apple, Firebase, Sentry, and similar providers gather crash reports, performance metrics, and aggregated usage needed to keep the app stable.
5. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and support Edge Parlay (including AI‑generated parlay suggestions, saved items, notifications, and account features).
  • Perform analytics, debug issues, improve quality/performance, and evaluate new models and risk filters.
  • Personalize content and recommendations (e.g., leagues, slates, starter players).
  • Provide ad‑supported features (showing ads, measuring performance, capping frequency, reducing fraud).
  • Communicate with you (service messages, policy updates, and—where permitted—product announcements).
  • Enforce terms, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
  • Generate aggregated insights (hit rates, run‑time metrics) that inform our AI heuristics without revealing your private data.

AI & Automated Decisions

Edge Parlay uses statistical models, heuristics, and AI ranking systems to score props, simulate parlay legs, and surface milestone alternatives. These models use historical performance of players/teams, your expressed preferences (e.g., leagues you follow), and anonymized run telemetry. We do not use AI outputs to make legal or employment decisions about you.

You can always choose not to act on a recommendation, regenerate a slate, or delete your data if you no longer want AI‑personalized suggestions.

6. Cookies, SDKs, and Tracking

We use mobile SDKs and similar technologies to enable core functionality (login, crash analytics), measure usage, and support ads.

You can reset or limit advertising identifiers in device settings (e.g., iOS “Allow Apps to Request to Track,” “Reset Advertising Identifier”). Some features may not function without certain SDKs.

7. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with:

  • Service providers/processors such as Supabase (auth + database), Google Cloud Platform (hosting, storage, logging), analytics/crash SDKs, and customer‑support tooling under written agreements.
  • Ad partners for ad‑supported features to deliver and measure ads. Under some laws (e.g., California), this may be considered “sharing for cross‑context behavioral advertising.”
  • App stores and payment processors (e.g., Apple) to verify and fulfill purchases.
  • Sports data licensors (e.g., BallDontLie) receive the queries we send (player/team IDs, date ranges) to return stats. They do not receive your contact details.
  • Professional advisors and authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (your information will remain subject to this Policy or a similar policy).

Your Choices for Ads

You may opt out of cross‑context behavioral advertising or targeted ads where applicable under local law by using device settings and in‑app controls we provide (if available).

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of certain information; object to/restrict certain processing; withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent); and opt out of “sale”/“sharing” for targeted advertising (as defined by applicable U.S. state laws). Some regions provide an appeal right if we deny your request.

  • Use the in‑app “Delete Account” control (where available) or email support@edgesoftwarellc.com to exercise rights. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity.
  • When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize Supabase records and Google Cloud logs within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for law, billing, fraud prevention, or safety.
9. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross‑border transfers.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes (e.g., security, fraud prevention, recordkeeping). Criteria include account status, transaction history, and legal requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de‑identify it. Per‑run logs stored in Google Cloud Storage and on‑device (EdgeParlayRuns) follow the same retention schedule.

11. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No security method is perfect; use a strong device passcode and keep your OS and app updated.

12. Third‑Party Links

Edge Parlay may link to third‑party content or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Regional Disclosures

A) California (CPRA) and certain U.S. states (CO, CT, VA, UT)

  • Purposes: as described above (ads/measurement may be “sharing”).
  • We do not knowingly process “sensitive” personal information except as necessary for app operations (e.g., authentication) and do not use it to infer characteristics.

  • Do Not Track: we do not respond to DNT browser signals, but we honor legally required consent/opt‑out mechanisms where applicable.

B) EEA/UK (GDPR)

  • Controller: EdgeSoftware LLC. Contact: support@edgesoftwarellc.com.
  • Legal bases: see Section 5.
  • You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

14. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 (or the age of majority in your region). If we learn that we have information from a minor, we will delete it.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified in‑app or by other reasonable means. The “Effective Date” above reflects the latest version.
